I ran out to 12 feet of water and through two of them way back behind the boat. Well, I had only brought my walleye gear along, but dug through my tackle boxes and came up with a couple of Berkley Flicker Shad plugs. We took a break to use the restroom at the Million Dollar Mile launch, and on the way back out one of the people with me said they would sure like to catch a walleye. I was fishing Banks Lake for smallmouth and having a great time.
We had a great time catching walleye and even got some very nice smallmouth, too. She got a 24-incher later that day. It was the first walleye she had ever caught.
